Delete your TENdays account
You can delete your account yourself inside the app, in a few seconds. If you can't get into the app, ask us from this page and we do it for you within 30 days.
From the app
Open Settings (the cog at the top right of your events list), scroll to Account, tap Delete my account and confirm. It happens straight away and signs you out. If you lead an event, the app asks you to make someone else a lead first, or delete the event.

If you can no longer sign in, email us from the address you sign in with, so we know the request is yours:
Subject: Delete my TENdays account. If the email comes from a different address, we reply to the address on the account to check before doing anything.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address and phone number, and your sign-in
- Your notification settings and your email preferences, including any marketing consent
- Your place on every event committee; any tasks assigned to you go back to the pool
- The link between you and anything you did in the app
What is kept, and why
- Events belong to their committee. Events you were part of stay available to the other members. Tasks you ticked, risk controls you confirmed, messages you sent and risk-assessment sign-offs remain in that event's record; we remove the link to your account so they no longer carry your name.
- One exception: a served Temporary Event Notice. If a notice was served with you named as the premises user, the frozen record of what was declared to the council, including your name and the contact details given, stays with that event as the committee's evidence of what was served. Tell us if you want that removed as well.
- We hold no payment details.
If you lead an event
An event can't be left without a lead. Before we delete your account we'll ask you either to make another committee member a lead (open the event, Committee, tap their name, Make a lead) or to delete the event yourself (Edit event, then Delete event at the bottom).
Timing
In the app it is immediate. A request by email is confirmed and completed within 30 days. Deletion cannot be undone. If you sign in again afterwards with the same email address, you start with a fresh, empty account.
